Gaming Display Price Falls to $329.99 as Best Buy Cuts Costs

A 27-inch gaming monitor that offers high refresh rates and OLED clarity is now $50 cheaper at Best Buy. The Acer Predator XB27OU dropped to $329.99 on October 23, 2026. This price cut targets gamers who want to leave standard IPS panels behind but find premium OLED displays too expensive.

The monitor features a 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel with a maximum resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. This 1440p resolution is designed for mid-range graphics cards. Tom's Hardware notes that such hardware can handle the frame rate demands of this screen without struggling.

Speed is the primary draw for the device. It refreshes at 240Hz and achieves a gray-to-gray response time of 0.03ms. The OLED technology enables this rapid pixel shifting. Tom's Hardware states that this combination produces smooth motion and eliminates the ghosting artifacts common on slower screens.

The display includes full support for AMD FreeSync Premium. This technology syncs the monitor's refresh rate to the game's frame rate. The result is a screen free of tearing, which improves the visual experience during fast-paced gameplay.

Color performance distinguishes the QD-OLED panel from standard options. The XB27OU covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and maintains a Delta E accuracy figure below 2. It also supports HDR10 and 10-bit color. These features increase contrast and color depth, making images appear more vivid against deep blacks.

Connectivity options allow users to plug in multiple devices. The monitor includes two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 port. This setup supports a gaming PC and two game consoles on the same screen. Tom's Hardware describes the current discount as a favorable moment to upgrade a gaming setup with modern display technology.

The reduced price is available for shoppers at Best Buy. The deal lowers the barrier to entry for high-end visual technology. Buyers looking for a 240Hz OLED panel can now access it for under $330.
