Anker Space 2 headphones fall to $106.49

Anker’s Soundcore Space 2 noise-canceling headphones have hit their lowest price ever, dropping to $106.49 at Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. The discount, which cuts $23 off the list price, applies to all three available color options. The sale makes the newer model cheaper than the original Space One was when it launched in 2023.

The Space 2 replaces the Space One, a model that The Verge’s John Higgins named among the best budget options for noise cancellation. While the new model carries a $30 higher list price, the current sale erases that premium. The price point now undercuts the original launch cost of its predecessor.

The primary upgrade is active noise cancellation, which handles low-frequency sounds like train rumble and airplane engines more effectively than the first generation. Soundcore also adjusted the design to improve sound accuracy. The headphones support high-resolution LDAC audio and include HearID 3.0, a tool that personalizes the audio profile based on user responses to test samples.

Battery life has increased as well. With noise cancellation active, the Space 2 runs for up to 50 hours, up from 40 hours on the older model. With the feature off, the runtime extends to 70 hours, compared to 55 hours previously. The device also includes a 3.5mm jack for wired listening and pauses playback automatically when removed from the head.

The Verge calls the Space 2 an easy recommendation due to the stronger noise cancellation and improved sound quality. The $106.49 price tag represents the lowest cost for the product to date, despite the higher base price relative to the 2023 launch of the Space One.
