Radio listeners in the WWNO region face a new set of geographic riddles.
The station's Sunday Puzzle segment presents twelve clues where the initial letters of the hint correspond to the initial letters of the answer.
Each solution must be a two-word name for a U.S. location, such as a city, state, river, or mountain.
The clues range from 'Northeast Haven' to 'Dry (very!)', requiring knowledge of specific American places like Fort Lauderdale, which serves as the provided example.
A thirteenth clue asks for a three-word answer related to Minnesota's sizable population.
Last week's challenge asked participants to identify two companies with lowercase starting letters and a capital B in their logos.
Deborah Freedman of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was named the winner for that previous puzzle.
This week's alternate challenge involves inserting a three-letter body part into a four-letter body part to form a supermarket brand name.
Participants must submit answers by 3 p.m. ET on Thursday, November 5.
Winners whose responses are selected will have the chance to play the on-air puzzle.
Submitters must include a phone number for contact.
