Las Vegas and New York will meet on Sunday in a contest that prediction markets view as effectively a coin flip.

Traders on the Kalshi platform are pricing the outcome of the game at nearly identical levels for both teams. A share representing a Raiders victory is trading at $0.51, while a share for a Jets victory is trading at $0.50. These prices equate to a 51% and 50% probability, respectively, for each team to win the contest.

The Las Vegas Raiders enter the game following a four-game losing streak. Their offense has remained productive during this stretch, with quarterback Kirk Cousins throwing for at least 240 yards in each of the past five games. Cousins currently ranks third in the league with 1,877 passing yards, 16 touchdowns, and five interceptions. However, the Raiders have allowed nearly 36 points per game over their last four losses. Those opponents included the Kansas City Chiefs, New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, and Los Angeles Rams.

The New York Jets also face this matchup after losing two consecutive games. Their defense remains a top-10 unit in the league, ranking fifth in the NFL by allowing 187.7 passing yards per game. The Jets have recorded eight takeaways and 19 sacks through the season. Rookie David Bailey, selected second overall in the draft, leads the team with 5.5 sacks. Quarterback Geno Smith is completing 70% of his passes for 1,621 yards, 10 touchdowns, and two interceptions.

The SportsLine Projection Model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, favors the home team. The model projects New York to win 59% of the time, resulting in a 'B' grade for that outcome. Las Vegas is projected to win in 41% of the simulations.

Market prices for the margin of victory show a slight lean toward a close game or a Jets victory. The odds for the Raiders winning by more than 1.5 points are $0.48 for 'Yes' and $0.53 for 'No'. The model projects a final score with New York winning by five points.

Total points markets suggest a high-scoring affair. The price for the game to exceed 44.5 points is $0.51, while the price for the game to stay under that total is $0.52. The model anticipates the teams will combine for almost 50 points. The Raiders are tied for second in the league with 12 takeaways, and the Jets have recovered seven fumbles.

The Raiders and Jets will play at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., with kickoff set for 1 p.m. ET. The Raiders' defense ranks 30th in the league against the run, a factor that may limit the Jets' ground game, which averages less than 100 yards per game. The Jets' offense is led by receiver Garrett Wilson, who has 444 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and running back Braelon Allen, who has 295 total yards and four scores.
